TalentValue, Inc. (“TalentValue” or “we” or “us”) has created this Privacy Policy, effective as of January 1, 2020, to disclose TalentValue’s collection, use and sharing of personal information for its mobile applications, social networking applications and website.

Information Collected and Received
TalentValue may collect or receive information about each person who visits the website, downloads and/or uses the mobile application, or interacts with us on any social networking applications, as well as each person who registers with the TalentValue website and/or applications including, but not limited to, first and last name, account login (email address), and password.

TalentValue collects information on the pages you access and other information you may volunteer. We collect information that you provide us, such as your profile information and compensation information, as part of using our service. We also collect information about the services that you use.

We collect information using cookies and similar technologies, as well as information from devices and networks you use. Information may also be collected by third parties and provided to TalentValue. For example, when you connect your TalentValue account to other services such as LinkedIn, we collect information associated with that other service.

Uses of Information
The information that we collect is used to provide the services that you request as well as to improve and enhance the services and user experience. It may be used to ensure the proper functioning of the site, for marketing purposes, as well as to provide useful information to you and other TalentValue users.

Information about compensation is used by TalentValue to build aggregate anonymized data models that predict compensation. In order to enable the features of the TalentValue system, users accessing the site and services receive limited access to aggregated data model results. Use of the TalentValue website, mobile application and services signifies your understanding of our use of the source data and your agreement to both access aggregate anonymized user data and allowing us to use your data as a part of an anonymized and aggregated data model.

TalentValue will not share the compensation information you provide us with employers or recruiters other than as part of an aggregate anonymized data set as set forth above.

TalentValue may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with TalentValue’s server and to administer TalentValue’s web site. Your IP address may also be used to help identify you and your online profile and to gather broad demographic information.

The TalentValue website and mobile application registration form requires users to give TalentValue contact information (such as email address) and other information. TalentValue may use your contact information from the registration form to send you information about TalentValue and may send promotional material from some of TalentValue’s partners. Your contact information may also be used to contact you when necessary. TalentValue may use demographic and/or profile data to tailor your experience on the TalentValue website and/or applications, show you content that TalentValue thinks you may be interested in, and display content according to your preferences. Furthermore, TalentValue shall have the right to retain records of all data pertaining to use of the website and applications including, but not limited to, usage, activity logs, and click-throughs.

We may use other companies to perform services as part of our operations. In the course of providing these services, those companies may have access to your personal information. Those companies are expected to treat your information in accordance with either this Privacy Policy or their own privacy policy. However, we will not be liable for any damages that may result from the misuse of your personal information by these companies.

From time to time, we may partner with companies. These partner companies may receive your contact information if necessary to complete a transaction between you and them. We will not otherwise provide to them your email address or any other contact information that could be used to contact you directly. Any exceptions to this policy of sharing your name, address or email address with a partner company will be done only with your permission.

TalentValue reserves the right to disclose information when required by law. We also reserve the right to transfer your information to another entity as part of an acquisition, merger or corporate reorganization. We may disclose your information to third parties who acquire all or a substantial part of the TalentValue, Inc. business or assets, including by merger, amalgamation, a sale of our assets (including our website) or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.

Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone who we know to be under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 18, you should use this website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and should not submit any personal information to us. If we discover that a person under the age of 13 has provided us with any personal information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete such person's personal information from all TalentValue systems.

Security
TalentValue seeks to use reasonable security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your information. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its security. We cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted through the services or over email, or the information contained within the applications. Any transmission or data storage is at your own risk.

Cookies
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. TalentValue uses cookies for, among other things, analytics, for marketing, or to maintain your logged in state when you visit the website or use any application.

International Data
TalentValue serves users in the United States in support of U.S.-based companies. All salary estimates and compensation-related data are for U.S.-based companies. It is not for European salary data and is not directed to users in the European Union.

Links
TalentValue may create links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third-party websites.

Amendments
TalentValue has the right, in its sole discretion, to add to, remove, modify or otherwise change any part of this Privacy Policy in whole or in part, at any time.

Successors and Assigns
This Privacy Policy inures to the benefit of successors and assigns of TalentValue.

Opt-Out
TalentValue provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from TalentValue, except transactional correspondence. To opt-out of receiving our communications, you can opt-out through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
